Ashwini Neelgund, M.D.
Dr. Ashwini Neelgund has been practicing psychiatry at Central Jersey Behavioral Health since 2014.After Graduating from Medical School at University of Mysore in India, Dr. Neelgund completed Post Graduation in Pediatrics, practiced Pediatrics in his Home country before migrating to USA. In the USA, he pursued his Medical Career specializing in Psychiatry. He completed 1 year of Internship in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Subsequently He graduated from University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ, Newark as a General Adult Psychiatrist. He worked as Attending Psychiatrist in the outpatient clinic, as well as at Partial Hospital Program at the Catholic Community Services (Mount Carmel Guild), where he oversaw Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management of patients collaborating with a team of Case managers and social workers. He has also worked as outpatient Psychiatrist with UMDNJ at Trenton State Prison.
